Creating future-proof buildings
Seven advises on how buildings can be designed and built to be future-proof. We use a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) approach for an affordable building and provide quality assurance (certification), so that the targets set in advance are achieved.
We highly value a good building envelope. This is the foundation for a pleasant indoor climate and results in concepts with a minimum of installations and very low energy demands. We do this for new builds as well as extensive renovation projects.
The earlier we get involved, the easier and more effective the follow-up process. But in all cases, we do not stop until the building is satisfactorily occupied. During the process, we work closely with architect, contractor, installer and other building professionals.
Greater impact through knowledge sharing
If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. That is why we share our knowledge and experience with the construction industry. Our aim here is for what we do to become the norm.
We do this through knowledge institute KERN, among others. For instance, we teach the course 'Passive House Design & Construction', which introduces participants to the principles of passive building and the practical implementation of these principles in sustainable projects. https://kennisinstituutkern.nl/. Zo doceren we de cursus ‘Passiefhuis Ontwerp & Constructie’, waarbij deelnemers kennismaken met de principes van passief bouwen en de praktische uitwerking van deze principes in duurzame projecten.
